The Brix Beanie by Krochet Kids ($28 retail)
The beanie you are sure to be rocking all season long helps women overcome extreme poverty. Krochet Kids is a social enterprise that has committed to helping women in Peru and Uganda rise above poverty through their employment programs. Through this program, these women are giving life-changing job opportunities and training to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. In fact, once in Krochet Kids’ program, women see their personal income grow 10x larger than before, and their saving increase by 25x - this means that these women are able to provide for their families, access healthcare when needed and send their kiddos to school. Krochet Kids believes that empowered women can transform their families, communities and the developing world - and we do too! In addition, each beanie is signed by the woman who made it - you can read about the woman who created your beanie and even send her a sweet thank you on their website!
The Pumpkin Chia Candle from Bright Endeavors ($13 retail)
Pumpkin spiced everything is a staple of this magical season! Not only will this candle make your house smell heavenly, but it helped empower young single mothers in some tough situations. Too often, young single mothers in poverty are victims of homelessness, neglect or abuse. As a result of this, these women find themselves without a high school diploma, work experience, or a way to provide for her family. This is where Bright Endeavors comes in. Bright Endeavors is all about creating powerful moments. They empower these young mothers through paid job training programs and provide the guidance and job skills needed to begin their path toward professional success. Bright Endeavors strives to awaken a young mom’s self-worth, dreams, goals, and potential. When you light your candle this season, know that you are not only helping empower a young mother, but her child too. Plus, every candle is signed by the strong woman who made it.

This journal was designed exclusively for Change Co.’s Fall Box by the talent Sara McKinney (you’ll also see her beautiful work on the box itself!) Did you know that around the world, close to 60 million children miss school because they lack the financial resources? This is where DOT comes in. Today DOT Products has funded over 5,300 days of school for kids in developing nations - and you got to be a part of that! Education provides the opportunity to overcome extreme poverty in developing nations. Overtime as you write down your ideas in your DOT journal know that you have helped changed the trajectory of kids with the odds stacked against them. Because of you, we were able to fund 75 days of school for kids in the Democratic Republic of the Congo!
The Body Wash from Plaine Products ($5 retail)
This rosemary, mint and vanilla body wash is our new favorite shower essential. We discovered it from Plaine Products. One of their main goals is to eliminate single use plastic. Did you know that only 1 in 5 people recycle items in the bathroom? Think of how many shampoo or body wash bottles you've thrown away in the past year - if we do not make a change with single use plastics, it is estimated that there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans by 2050 -Yikes! Plaine has a solution for this. They had the idea to use an aluminum bottle for their shampoos, conditioners, and body washes to help us break away from those single use plastic bottles. Aluminum is able to be completely recycled - but they didn't stop there. Instead, once you are running low on your favorite shower items Plaine will send you a refill to use and you simply return the bottle in the same packing for them to reuse again! Even better, they have partnered with multiple nonprofits, such as 5Gyres, who works to empower action against the global health crisis of plastic pollution through science, art, education and adventure. Plus, this body wash is hypoallergenic and cruelty free!
The Four Pack of Rooibos Tea from My Red Tea ($5)

My Red Tea is focused on sharing the benefits of organic and pure Rooibos, which is a natural bush plant found in South Africa. Rooibos is a herb naturally high in anti-oxidants, caffeine free, gluten-free, and bursting with vitamins and minerals! Not only is My Red Tea on a mission to spread the Rooibos love, but they donate 10% of their profits to help support education in the Rooibos farming communities! Rest well as you cozy up with a good book and a cup of Rooibos red tea (with a dash of honey!) knowing that the tea is both sustainable and meaningful.
